We love witnessing the awe and wonder that lights up people’s faces when they catch their first glimpse of Saturn’s rings or the moons of Jupiter through our telescope. It’s a feeling that never fades. From the moment we became part of the astronomy community, our mission has been to ignite the spark of curiosity in others and inspire them to gaze upwards. We are committed to sharing the beauty of this hobby through our images, this website, engaging live streams, star parties, and sidewalk pop-up events.

Feel free to explore some of our past events and discover exciting upcoming ones below.

16 Mar 2024: Neighborhood Observing – Our family brought out our telescope and invited neighbors over to take a look at Jupiter and four of it’s moons. We wanted to take advantage of the clear night before Jupiter left for the season. It was great sharing our eyepiece with others.

14-16 Jul 2023: Grand Canyon Star Party – Our family linked up with the women of S.T.E.L.A., Justin P., and Antoine & Dalia (galactic.hunter) at the Grand Canyon. During this trip, our second oldest daughter Jayden captured her first ever Milky Way photo (pictured in the above slideshow).

9 Dec 2022: Star Party – hosted on Davis-Monthan AFB. We put on our first star party for some of my military co-workers and family during our shops Holiday Party.

22 Oct 2022: SOL (Solar Observing Lab) – hosted at the Earth & Space Expedition Center in Phoenix. Our family worked the S.T.E.L.A. booth with other members of the all-female astrophotgrapher group. SOL was a daylong event showcasing various solar equipment and safe viewing practices. There were several speakers, astronomers, and telescopes on display. The attendance was estimated around 150 people.
